1. How are artworks shipped?
We offer free shipping on all artworks.
For orders shipped outside the European Union, the recipient may be responsible for any applicable local import duties, customs charges, VAT, or other taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and, where applicable, are payable by the buyer.
All artworks are carefully packed to ensure maximum protection during transportation.
2. What is your return policy?
Before returning an artwork, please contact us at office@skvo.gallery so that we can review and confirm the reason for the return and provide the appropriate return instructions.
If the artwork has not been damaged or found to be defective, the cost of return shipping is covered by the buyer.
Once the returned artwork has been received at the return address specified in our policies and its condition has been verified, we will refund the purchase price of the artwork within 30 days.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service when returning an artwork.
3. How are the artworks made?
All artworks are created using traditional physical art materials on paper or canvas.
The production process combines manual artistic techniques with robotic and algorithmic processes. Depending on the artwork, I may prepare the canvas or paper by hand, apply primers, create background layers, or introduce initial colours and textures manually.
Robotic systems are then used to operate traditional artistic tools and materials, becoming part of the physical drawing or painting process.
These works are not conventional digital prints. We do not use standard inkjet printing, giclée printing, screen printing, or similar reproduction methods as the primary method of creating the artwork.
Each piece is produced as a physical artwork in which the interaction between the artist, algorithm, machine, material, and traditional artistic instrument becomes part of the creative process.
4. How is the artwork supplied and packaged?
Canvas artworks are generally supplied stretched on a wooden stretcher frame and are carefully protected and packed in durable cardboard packaging suitable for transportation.
Works on paper are carefully rolled and shipped in large-diameter protective tubes of approximately 10 cm / 4 inches, helping to reduce excessive curvature and protect the surface during shipping.
Each artwork is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its origin and authenticity.
5. What materials are used to create the artworks?
We use carefully selected, high-quality materials intended for long-term preservation of the artwork.
Depending on the individual work, these may include artist-grade or archival-quality paints, pigments, canvas, and paper.
We favour pigments and paints with high resistance to ultraviolet light and materials designed to maintain colour stability over time.
For works on paper, we use acid-free, neutral-pH paper, which helps minimise deterioration and supports the long-term preservation of pigments and the artwork itself.
Material specifications may vary between individual collections and artworks and are indicated in the description of each work whenever relevant.
